Because this won't just happen, sessions with me go beyond just talking. We will take action by setting achievable goals and developing the skills you'll need to accomplish them.

Hi, I'm Lia.

I’ve found that clients appreciate respect, empathy, and a relaxed approach – all of which you’ll find with me. As you can imagine, the topics discussed in therapy can sometimes get a little intense! I don’t, however, believe the overall theme of our therapy sessions needs to be overly serious, so a joke might pop out, swear words are welcome, and you can feel comfortable coming to sessions as your authentic self.

 

I want clients to feel in control of their lives, so my approach to therapy is very active. Together, we'll create a toolbox to help you gain better control over your emotions and improve your connections with the people in your life.

Borderline Personality Disorder

​I'll teach you skills to help you gain better control over your emotions, feel more confident in your ability to handle intense or delicate moments, and develop more stable relationships.

Anxiety

Are you tired of always feeling unsettled and worried, like a sense of calm is just out of reach?

 

We'll find out what's at the core of your anxiety and develop the skills to cope with it. You'll also learn how to question the accuracy of your anxiety-provoking thoughts so they won't have such an impact on you.

Depression

Do you feel like a shell of your old self, unable to feel motivation or happiness?​

We will explore what is making you feel unmotivated and low while simultaneously taking small steps to help you start getting back into those fun activities and loving connections.
